If you're reading this right now and are thinking "WTH is Mozart in the Jungle?", don't worry, you're not the only one.

When this quirky series won Best Comedy at the 2016 Golden Globes, everyone quickly looked it up on IMDB to know what it's about and if it's worth it to binge-watch. The answer to the latter is YES.

Mozart in the Jungle, the newest show on W Network's roster, is about the  behind-the-scenes antics of the fictional New York Symphony, led by a brash new maestro named Rodrigo (played by Gael Garcia Bernal) who becomes smitten with an oboist named Hailey (played by Lola Kirke). This show is 3 seasons deep but starting Wednesday, July 26 at 10 E/P you can watch the series from the beginning with two back-to-back episodes each week. Here are 5 reasons to tune in.

You Don't Need to Like Classical Music to Like This Show

I get it. Not everyone is a diehard Mozart fan.  If your Spotify account doesn't hold a single symphony from Bach or Chopin that shouldn't stop you from enjoying this show which is very character-driven above anything else. The music just lingers in the background to help make the scene more romantic or heartbreaking.

Admit it, we've all rented Y Tu Mama Tambien back in the day just for the hot scenes with Gael. The Spanish actor has grown up a lot since the sexy coming-of-age indie flick made headlines in 2001, but one thing that hasn't changed is his on screen charisma. On MITJ, his chemistry with co-lead Lola Kirke is sizzling. There's so much sexual tension which makes for great TV, doesn't it?

It's Got Loads of Surprising Cameos

At the risk of giving away spoilers, I must mention this show is created by Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman, so.....they may or may not pop up from time to time. Why not? They are talented directors and actors! They can do as they please. Expect to see a ton of surprising musician cameos, because, after all, this is a show about music.

Some Story Lines Revolve Around Sex and Drugs

GASP. You'd think a half-hour comedy about classical music would be tame and, dare I say, boring. But MITJ features storylines revovling around some pretty edgy topics. Again, I don't want to spoil anything, but this program knows when to pack a punch and when to leave you giggling for days.
