Kait is a “luxury travel nomad” with a jet-setting lifestyle and a recently broken heart.  After spending the last five years globetrotting, Kait has returned to Canada to start a new chapter. She’s looking for a man she can trust... could the Bachelor be her next travel companion?

Name: Kait
Home city: Victoria, British Columbia
Age: 29
Profession: Luxury Travel Nomad

What is the most important thing the bachelor should know about you? That if we hit it off and have a life together, it's going to be exciting, rewarding and balanced. Life with me is never going to be dull.

What makes you different from the other bachelorettes? I'm really looking for a connection that's going to last.

What type of music do you like? Anything I can dance to.

Who is your personal hero? I'm inspired by strong female leaders like Michelle Obama. I would love to sit down and have a conversation with her.

What can't you live without? My friends and family. I love to be surrounded by people.

What are your relationship deal breakers? Unkindness and controlling, self-centred behaviour.

What is your dream date? I love flying, so my dream date involves being in a glass bottomed helicopter seeing something really beautiful like the lava flow in Hawaii. I would also like to combine it with something active like a hike, walk, or snorkel in a beautiful place enjoying nature.

What is one thing on your bucket list? I really want to go on an African safari and to India.

Favourite travel destination? Anywhere with good weather and good company.

What are your three best qualities? My smile, my curiosity, and I have a lot of love for everyone around me.

Your three worst qualities according to an ex? I'm indecisive, I'm a neat freak, and in the past I have given too much to relationships, at the cost of my own well-being.

What is the meaning of marriage to you? Having somebody in your life who always has your back. I see how deeply my parents support each other, and although they don't always agree, they find a way to agree and both be happy. Marriage is ultimately having an amazing friendship.
