With Julia & Julia airing this Sunday, we thought this would be the perfect time to share some of our favourite Meryl movies with you! From mean and menacing to loving and laughable, she impresses us time and time again. Let us know your favourite in the comments!

The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

She can strike fear in our hearts just as easily as she can make us laugh! Meryl was brilliant in the role of fashion mogul Miranda Priestly, and showed us just how versatile (and scary) she can be. We would definitely love to see her play mean again.

Mamma Mia! (2008)

If she absolutely terrified you as the seemingly heartless fashion magazine editor in The Devil Wears Prada, Mamma Mia! brings back that fun, playful Meryl. This musical rom-com gave her the chance to show off those pipes and dancing moves as Donna, and made us fall in love with ABBA all over again!

Julia and Julia (2009)

If you’ve ever seen a Julia Child cooking video, then you’ll know that the accuracy with which Meryl plays her is uncanny! Portraying a famous real-life character can be tricky, but Meryl nails it! From the voice to the mannerisms, she has us convinced that she was the perfect choice for this role!

It’s Complicated (2009)

We love seeing Meryl in a charming romantic comedy, so the undeniable chemistry between her and Alec Baldwin makes this a favourite for us. This is a great movie for anyone looking to have a cozy night in and a good laugh!

Hope Springs (2012)

Meryl and Tommy Lee Jones are hilarious in this romantic comedy-drama about two empty nesters trying to rekindle that flame! From beginning to end, you’ll be rooting for these two to the feel the love again.
