Sophie Tweed-Simmons is an actress, and singer/songwriter living in Los Angeles. She is the 21-year-old daughter of Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed. She is most known for her role in Gene Simmons’ Family Jewels, a reality show starring the Tweed-Simmons Family that ran on A&E from 2006 - 2012. Now two years later, she stars with her mother in, "Shannon & Sophie" premiering on W Network.
Sophie is currently acting in a number of independent films, and working on her passion project - writing a screenplay with her brother Nick Tweed-Simmons. She is signed as a developmental artist for Universal Music Canada and is working on an album in Nashville, Tennessee.
Although she went to university for Religious Studies, Sophie has decided to work in philanthropy. She is the patron of her charity 'Sophie’s Place,' a child advocacy center in British Columbia. Sophie is also writing a book on body image for young women.
