Series 3 - # 077 Patricia & Michael's Bathroom
Patricia, Michael and their two sons live in a great 1920’s era house. The master bedroom is on the third floor in what used to be a separate apartment. There is still a kitchen and a tiny bathroom area that is never used - it’s ugly, it’s outdated and nothing really works that well. Seems Mom is stuck sharing a bathroom with three men, and she is sick of it. Before her sons become teenagers, Patricia is determined to have a fabulous, but budget friendly bathroom retreat that will be off-limits to her kids. So Candice will turn a kitchen/bathroom into a beautiful space that mom (and sometimes Dad) will have all to themselves.

S5, Episode #121 Danielle’s Bedroom
Nine year old Danielle lives with her mother Sherine, her father Wayne and her sister Ayesha in this beautiful suburban home.  Danielle loves regular kid stuff including watching tv, collecting toys, playing with friends and watching design shows.  While Danielle is pretty much a typical kid, she is also struggling with the day-to-day realities of living with a life threatening illness.  The Make a Wish foundation contacted me because Danielle had asked them for a dream bedroom makeover -- and apparently she's a huge fan of Divine Design. I was thrilled to be able to help and the best part is that it's all a giant surprise -- Danielle and her family have no idea that I'm coming, and that her greatest wish is about to come true!

Season 4 # 080 Lori's 70's Basement
Lori has lived in this typical suburban mid-century house for her entire life. She spent her childhood, her teenagehood and is now intending to spend the rest of her adult years in this house. Lori and her new husband have just recently purchased the house from her parents and have moved back in. It’s familiar, home sweet home for Lori – she knows every nook and cranny and has many fond family memories, but she’s ready for a change. Her dark-dingy basement with its barnyard decorating scheme was all the rage in the 1970’s, but now it’s simply out-of-date. Lori doesn’t want to do fondue parties anymore, she’s ready for light-bright modern entertaining. Candice will get this room out of the 70s and ready for many more decades of family fun and elegant entertaining.

Season 4 # 081 Kristine and Simon's Master Bedroom
"God Save the Queen", or at least Candice please save this bedroom. Kristine and her husband Simon live in a fabulous Georgian style house on a quaint roundabout with their two children. It seems that Simon is an unabashed anglophile and would love to transform their house into an English-style castle. Kristine is willing to indulge her husband, but has drawn the line at installing a moat or decorating the house with suits of armor, or Union Jacks! They need some help in their dark, dated master bedroom before there are any duels. So Candice will transform the space into a bright, modern and airy interpretation of the English country style.

Season 4 # 082 Toby’s French Flare Basement
Toby and her husband Willy live in this newly renovated house with their young daughter. They have decorated every room except their large basement that opens onto their backyard. Toby and her family love to travel and spend time in the French countryside, but when they aren’t there, they miss it. They would love to transform this space into a French inspired room that can be used for entertaining, relaxing and as an extension of their garden. So Candice is ready to don her beret and turn this blank slate into a French country fantasy room that will transport Toby and Willy to the lavender fields of Provence every time they walk through the doors.

It’s time for Mom and Dad to reclaim their room and at the same time they want to create a guest room for their frequent out of town guests. So Talia and Eliana are going to start sharing a room; a large room at the front of the house that at the moment is a catchall for everything. Candice will summon her inner child and design a creative, stimulating, kid-friendly bedroom for two sisters that will definitely fuel their little imaginations.

Season 4 # 084 Steve's Party Room
Steve bought his dream house two years ago. It’s a typical 1960’s ranch-style that’s big on space, but short on style. His life is inundated with parties; he plans parties for a living, and he loves to host his own parties at home for friends and family. Right now his friends are in the habit of congregating in the biggest room in the house; an outdated basement family room that’s shabby, but not at all chic! It’s a bit of an embarrassment to him and he is desperate for Candice to transform his 1960’s basement family room into a cool but comfortable room that really knows how to party. Hopefully it will include eliminating the peel-and-stick wood look vinyl that currently decorates the side of the bar!

Season 4 # 085 Jeannine & Patrick's Family Room
Jeannine and Patrick have lived in this large family home for over 5 years. They have decorated the main rooms in the house, but neglected their basement family room and won’t allow guests to descend the stairs. The house has many over-the-top details courtesy of the previous owners, including one big dominant stone fireplace in the family room that’s a little Liberace, but Jeannine and Patrick still love it; they just don’t know how to work with it. Their mish mash of furniture does nothing to complement the fireplace and they are ready to rip this room apart. They need an elegant but family friendly room that will have space for play for their two young sons, space for entertaining and TV viewing, oh, and a little room for storage and display of their book collection. A big job, but

Season 4 # 086 Jennifer and Linda’s Living Room
Jennifer and Linda are two busy professional mom’s with equally busy kids, one large bear of a dog, a red bearded dragon and a guinea pig! They have just moved into their dream home – a large 1920’s arts and crafts house that was in original condition when they bought it. They still even have the original built-in ice-box in their kitchen and all the original windows and woodwork. Jennifer has gotten her hands dirty with painting, plastering, sanding and repairs, but the house is still in mid-reno and their lived-in living room is a little rough around the edges. A bit of damaged plaster, dirty white walls, an ugly fireplace, and out-of-scale furniture from their previous house leave this room in desperate need of a makeover. So Candice will shape this room into a space that will acco

They are a young modern couple, but the house does nothing to represent their personalities or lifestyle - they love to entertain, but they are tired of their home’s tired looks...
