LAID follows Ruby Yao (Academy Award-nominee Stephanie Hsu) who discovers that her ex-lovers are mysteriously dying in the order she slept with them. With the help of her best friend and roommate, AJ (Zosia Mamet), Ruby retraces her romantic history to uncover the cause of these mysterious deaths and confront her past relationships. This dark rom-com explores the question, “why can’t I find love, is there something wrong with me?” is a resounding “Yes. There is. The problem is definitely you.”
