Adapted from KJ Dell’Antonia’s New York Times best-selling book, The Chicken Sister, sisters Amanda and Mae are reunited when reality show “Kitchen Clash” comes to their town, and the competition between their two feuding restaurants heats up. Starring Schuyler Fisk, Genevieve Angelson, Lea Thompson, and Wendie Malick.

In The Chicken Sisters, she portrays Amanda, the daughter who stayed in her hometown, striving to connect with her family amid rival fried chicken restaurants.

Genevieve Angelson as Mae Moore

Genevieve Angelson is recognized for roles in Good Girls RevoltThe Handmaid’s Tale, and The Afterparty. She has a strong theater background, originating the role of Nina in the Tony Award-winning play Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. In the series, she plays Mae, who left her small town for a glamorous city life but returns, confronting past family dynamics and the ongoing restaurant feud.

Lea Thompson as Nancy Hillier

Lea Thompson’s versatile career spans films like Back to the Future and series such as Switched at Birth. She has also directed episodes of various TV shows, including Star Trek: Picard. In The Chicken Sisters, she embodies Nancy Hillier, navigating the challenges of running a family restaurant and redefining herself after personal loss.

Wendie Malick as Augusta ‘Gus’ Moore

Wendie Malick is known for her roles in Just Shoot Me!Hot in Cleveland, and Dream On. She has an extensive voice acting portfolio and stage experience. In the series, she portrays Gus, the strong-willed owner of Mimi’s Fried Chicken, whose stern demeanor masks deeper vulnerabilities.
